We were established in 1956 by an English explorer named John Smith. John wanted to create a restaurant welcome for anybody and The Black Griffin was a success from the moment it opened. It is known for it's warmly atmosphere and delicious food. John's favourite myth was the one of the 'Griffin' hence our name 'The Black Griffin' restaurant. We serve all types of food from true british fish & chips to our mexican chicken heat wraps. We specialise in our sizzling dishes which include the mixed grill and our BBQ stack of ribs. To make our restaurant extra special we have a variety of special offers and different entertainment on certain days of the week.
