Designing your own video
Storyboards show how the key scenes of a video will be shot. They are important in the production of video clips because they give the director a chance to see how the final video will look before shooting has even begun, and they also give the cameramen and actors a chance to see what is required of them. When creating a video, you should create a storyboard to help you organise your video scene by scene.

There are no set rules for the creation of storyboards and many organisations have their own preferred format.

Many films have a special feature which shows the original storyboard alongside the finished movie. For example, this clip from The Lord of the Rings of "A storyboard-to-film comparison of the Nazgûl attack at Bree."
